Academy Awards Best Actor & Actress Portraits 1928 – 1961 by Nicholas Volpe Set of 69 Prints from Brown Derby

This is an extremely rare 1962 original complete collection of 69 beautifully detailed portraits of each of the male and female movie star Academy Awards Oscar winner from 1928 – 1961 by the famous Hollywood artist, Nicholas Volpe. My father owned a movie theater in the 1960’s so I have inherited several of these rare sets.

There are two Academy Award winner portraits for each year, one for best actress and one for best actor. This is from the Beverly Hills Brown Derby Collection (lithographs of the same drawings that hung up on the walls of the Brown Derby restaurant).

Each 8″ x 10 1/2″ charcoal portrait is signed in the plate by the artist and dated 1962. These portraits are ready and suitable for framing. All portraits are in mint condition, no folds, tears or stains. This price is less than $1.20 per portrait.
