This is a Salvador Dali etching titled “Dali Discovers America” from the 1979 portfolio.

This etching is the title cover page of the portfolio of “Dali Discovers America” which had consisted of Christopher Columbus and Gateway to the New World. 

This subject shows a plate signature of the artist on the top and an embossed Dali signature on the bottom. It is also embossed with a gateway and the American Flag in the image.

This etching was published in 1979 by Levine and Levine. It was copyrighted by DALART, N.V.

Paper measures 29.5″ x 21.5″.  The total edition size produced was 845. Made on thick quality archival arches vellum ragpaper.

In excellent condition. Comes unframed. Comes with a gallery certificate of authenticity.
